When investing, your capital is at risk and you may get back less than you invest.
Is Webull available in the UK?
Yes. Webull received FCA authorisation in October 2022 and opened to UK customers on 12 July 2023. It followed other US investing apps into the UK, such as Robinhood. Public.com also launched in 2023 but left the UK in May 2024.
Webull says it has more than 28 million registered users worldwide (August 2026).
What can you trade on Webull UK?
At launch, UK customers could only buy US stocks. In October 2026, the Webull UK website lists:
- US stocks: £0 commission, including fractional shares.
- UK stocks and ETFs: commission-free for the first 90 days for new accounts, then standard pricing.
- Options: no contract fees for the first 3 months for new accounts.
- Hong Kong stocks and China Stock Connect: £0 commission.
- Accounts: a Cash Account, a Stocks and Shares ISA and a cash savings product paying up to 4.00% AER (variable).
The FX fee starts from 0.35%, and Webull doesn’t offer a SIPP. You can transfer shares in from another broker, but Webull UK doesn’t support transfers out: if you leave, you have to sell and withdraw the cash.
Options are complex products. You can lose all the money you put into an option, and some strategies can lose more.
Does Webull offer free shares in the UK?
Not in October 2026. Webull has run free share and cash bonus campaigns in the UK before, such as a free fractional share offer in late 2024 and a 2% cash bonus on deposits from November to December 2025. Its current welcome offer is commission-free UK stocks, ETFs and options for the first 3 months.
Offers change often, so check the current terms through this Webull link before you deposit. For other sign-up offers, see our guide to free shares in the UK.
