Ever wondered how rich you are? Ever wondered how your wealth compares to the average global citizen or the people around you?
There are two websites I have come across that show you how wealthy you are relative to the wider population.
- http://www.globalrichlist.net/ – This website gives you an idea of how rich you are relative to other people in the world. All you do is simply input your salary and the calculator will generate your position in the global rich list.
- https://www.ifs.org.uk/tools_and_resources/where_do_you_fit_in – If you want to see your position in the distribution of the UK for net household equalised income, the IFS has a good tool. This website is more detailed as you need to input your household income, the number of people in your household and your council tax amount.
So visit the above two websites. Have a look. And you will be pleasantly surprised how little it takes to be part of the global wealthy elite!
